CHIME International Leadership Summit at HLTH Europe

HLTH Europe returns for its second year following an exceptional launch event in 2024. 3:30 – 3:40 pm: Welcome Address

Russ Branzell will open the program and welcome delegates. The sponsor will also have the opportunity to introduce themselves and welcome attendees to the summit (one minute)

3:40 – 4:10 pm: Module One – Crossing the Pond and Shifting Mindsets

Dr. Zafar Chaudry, Senior Vice President, Chief Digital Officer & Chief AI and Information Officer at Seattle Children’s Hospital, will reflect on his extensive leadership experience in both the UK and the US. Prior to joining Seattle Children’s, Dr. Chaudry led digital health transformation at several renowned UK hospitals, including Liverpool Women’s Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. Now leading the AI mission at Seattle Children’s, Dr. Chaudry will offer insights on integrating AI into healthcare and provide valuable advice for hospital leaders on adopting this revolutionary technology.

Saad Chaudhry, Chief Digital and Information Officer at SSM Health, a 24-hospital non-profit healthcare organization based in St Louis Missouri. As well as a number of leadership positions in US healthcare, Saad has worked in the United Arab Emirates for Saudi German Health and at Gartner in Dubai. Saad has extensive experience in leading change in a multinational environment and insight into the expanding role of the CIO.

4:10 – 4:40 pm: Module Two – Women Leaders in Healthcare Tech

Tressa Springmann, CHIME Board Chair and CIO of LifeBridge Health, Baltimore for more than 12 years, describes herself as an “Ideas to Outcomes Architect”—driving change through technology in healthcare. During her career, Tressa has served in very senior leadership roles and will share her insights on building diverse workforces that reflect the communities they serve.

Linda Stevenson, Chief Information Officer at Fisher-Titus Health: a non-profit health system serving communities in Ohio. In 2010, Fisher-Titus was the first all-digital community hospital in the US. Linda will describe her approach to leadership, close project management, and organizational transformation.

4:40 – 5:20 pm: Panel – Working the Globe: International Comparisons on Leadership in Fast-Moving Healthcare

This panel will explore the digital health opportunities emerging in an increasingly connected global healthcare economy. The panel will feature CHIME Board members who have worked across the globe, alongside a subject matter expert from our sponsor.

5:20 – 5:30 pm: Closing & Networking Reception

Russ Branzell will summarize the afternoon’s discussions and invite delegates to continue networking with drinks and local snacks.
